Abstract

The essential oil from the leaf oil of I L. annamensis i displayed promising antibacterial activity against I Enterococcus faecalis i ATCC299212 and I Staphylococcus aureus i ATCC25923, and anti-candidal action towards I Candida albicans i ATCC10231, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) value of 32.0 g/mL (Table 2). In our previous communications, the chemical compositions and antimicrobial activity of essential oils from I L. glauca i [[2]] and I L. rufa i [[3]] were reported. The leaves of I L. annamensis i afforded essential oil dominated by sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (76.1%) and monoterpene hydrocarbons (14.9%). [Extracted from the article]
