Abstract
- The article focuses on opioid dependence treatment (ODT) in Western Australia, discussing the challenges faced by practitioners and services supporting patients with opioid addiction, highlighting recent developments in ODT, addressing the nationwide shortage of GP prescribers, and discussing the positive changes in ODT with the establishment of a new ODT community pharmacy program aimed at reducing the financial burden on patients.
