Abstract

Enantioselective Intramolecular Hydroacylation of Alkynes by Rhodium Catalysis through Dynamic Kinetic Resolution. Mechanistic studies revealed that hydroacylation occurs preferentially from one enantiomer of the racemic substrate via a dynamic kinetic resolution (DKR) process. The front cover picture illustrates a rhodium-catalyzed enantioselective hydroacylation of racemic alkynals having a substituent at the -position of the carbonyl group. [Extracted from the article]
