Abstract
- The article explores the differing attitudes of W. B. Yeats and George Moore towards impressionism in literature and painting. Moore, an advocate of impressionism, drew from his experiences in Paris and championed impressionist painting, while Yeats, despite some later acceptance, initially held a strong aversion to impressionism, reflecting his evolving relationship with modern art.
