Self-Scouring Water-Intake Basins: Design and Layout.

Self-scouring water-intake basins are modem hydraulic structures, which are the water-inlet part of surface water intakes, that are difficult to design and require physical modeling. The parameters and main design features of a water-intake basin can only be assessed in a hydraulic laboratory. Data for calculations are provided based on an analysis of actual data.
