Metalepsa v románovom diskurze Michela Houellebecqa.

Metalepsis in Michel Houellebecq's novel discourse The present article inspects the exploitation of the narrative figure of authorial metalepsis in chosen novels by Michel Houellebecq (1956), the world acclaimed contemporary French novelist. We argue that via abundant metaleptical trangressions, the author attempts at renarrativisation of the postmodern novel, wherein the use of metalepsis significantly contributes to playful, poetic and polyphonic nature of the author's novelistic discourse. Furthermore, we argue that the transgressive metaleptical nature of Houellebecq's discourse represents a salient tool for the reader to acquire both individual introspection and knowledge of the epistemological nature of the contemporary world.
