Development and Application of Basic Boom Assembly Tooling for Truck Cranes of 12 t to 30 t.

During the general assembly and manufacturing processes of the basic boom of truck cranes of 12 t to 30 t, the labor intensity of operators is very high, which becomes a bottleneck restricting product quality and mass production. In view of this situation, a basic boom assembly tooling for truck cranes is designed, and the main technical parameters, structure and working principle of this equipment are introduced. In the process of general assembly, the tail part of basic boom, cylinder body and derricking support are automatically aligned by each automatic control mechanism, and the relative position parameters of the boom are transmitted to the PLC data center through sensors and are accurately shown on the display screen, so as to control the relative position dimensions of each part of the basic boom. After application and verification, it is found that the equipment has reliable performance and high efficiency, with workers' labor intensity reduced by nearly 50%, productivity increased by nearly 30% and qualification rate improved by nearly 20%, which has a good application value for mass production of basic booms of truck cranes of 12 t to 30 t.
