Abstract
- A study conducted at Narayana Nethralaya in Karnataka, India, focused on a 38-year-old pregnant woman who experienced sudden vision loss in her right eye. The examination revealed a macula-off rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with multiple retinal breaks. The patient underwent pneumatic retinopexy, transscleral cryopexy, and the steam-roller technique for post-operative positioning. Her retina was successfully reattached, and her visual acuity improved. The study emphasizes the importance of accurately identifying and treating the primary retinal break in cases of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. [Extracted from the article]
