Abstract

A research report from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education examines the online learning readiness of students in a higher education institution in Mexico. The study found that prior digital skills and the use of digital resources by the university significantly influenced students' academic achievement in distance learning settings. Students who used digital support developed better critical thinking, problem-solving, and time organization skills. The research concludes that educational institutions must embrace new technologies and teaching methods to meet the changing needs of students. This study is expected to contribute to discussions on creating future educational models. [Extracted from the article]
