Detection and Effect Analysis of Chloride Ion Deposition Rate in the Atmospheric Environment of Island in the East China Sea.

Abstract
- In order to study the influencing factors on the rate of chloride ion deposition in the atmospheric environment of the East Sea island, nine atmospheric test sites were carried out over eight months to examine the rate of chloride ion deposition at Zhairuo Mountain Island of Zhejiang University. The results show that the rate of chloride deposition decreases with the increasing distance from the shoreline. Chloride deposition rates were higher in winter than in spring and summer at various test sites at Zhairuo Mountain Island, with the highest rates in chloride deposition in northeast dircation. Chloride ion deposition rate is influenced by various factors such as wind direction, wind energy and rainfall. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
