Abstract

The article focuses on some of the case studies of skin diseases that were presented at the West of England Dermatological Society. A girl aged 9 years had Staphylococcal infection of right arm aged 6 days, broncho-pneumonia aged 6 weeks, atopic eczema of face and scalp aged 6 months, measles aged 4 years, massive pyodermia of left arm aged 5 years for which she was admitted to hospital. A man aged 30 had a hoarse voice and his facial skin bruises after shaving. There is no history of repeated skin infection, but about twice yearly he has ulceration of the mouth associated with upper respiratory infections. There is no history of epilepsy.
