Abstract
- The article discusses on the issue of inclusion of the names of reviewers. Reviewing journal papers takes considerable time and effort. reviewers comments usually improve the clarity and quality of the final manuscript. Indeed, some papers would never be published without substantial revisions following input from reviewers. Reviewers receive no pay for their efforts, and sometimes not even a word/note of thanks. It has been argued that reviewers may be more inclined to recommend papers for acceptance if their own names are published in the paper.
