Rediscovering the Genesis of Girolamo De Rada Romantic Poetry: Songs before Millosao.

This paper explores the evolution of Girolamo de Rada's poems, specifically focusing on Songs before Millosao. By scrutinizing De Rada's original manuscripts and comparing them to the early published versions of his poems, we delve into his creative process and examine the modification of verses, characters, and themes over time. This study also investigates the presence and progression of political and patriotic elements in De Rada's work, providing valuable insights into the cultural and historical influences on his poetry.
