Abstract
- Researchers in China have conducted a cohort study to investigate the relationship between plasma D-dimer levels and the progression of kidney disease in IgA nephropathy (IgAN). The study involved 1818 patients with IgAN and found that higher plasma D-dimer levels were associated with an increased risk of kidney disease progression events. The researchers concluded that high plasma D-dimer levels may be a potential predictor of disease progression in IgAN. This research provides valuable insights into the understanding and management of IgAN. [Extracted from the article]
