Abstract
- A recent report from National University discusses research on multiple myeloma, the second most common hematologic malignancy. The study focuses on predicting the response to daratumumab-based therapy, a monoclonal antibody used for multiple myeloma treatment. The researchers used single-cell RNA sequencing and machine-learning methods to develop a gene signature that can predict response to therapy and prognosis in multiple myeloma. The study suggests that these gene signatures could be used to improve treatment allocation and enhance risk group delineation. [Extracted from the article]
