Abstract
- A recent study conducted by the Department of Veterinary Sciences has provided new insights into Marek's disease, a significant problem for bird flocks. The study focused on the emergence and re-emergence of the disease in broilers and laying hens. The research found that Marek's disease occurred in 80% of broilers and 100% of layer hens, primarily manifesting in visceral rather than neurological symptoms. The study emphasizes the importance of biosecurity despite MD immunization. For more information, the full research article can be accessed through the provided link. [Extracted from the article]
