Abstract
- This article examines the relationship between stress and employee performance in a private university in Nigeria. The study found that there is a significant correlation between stress and employee performance, highlighting the importance of effective stress management strategies. The article discusses the concept of stress, stressors, and the signs and symptoms of stress, as well as stress management practices and their impact on employee performance. It emphasizes the need for organizations to implement both individual and organizational approaches to stress management in order to enhance employee performance. The article concludes by recommending strategies for effective stress management, such as redefining policies, providing consistent training, and reviewing workload. [Extracted from the article]
