Reports on the decision of the periodical "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences" to pull out the paper of Professor Lawrence M. Wein about bioterrorism from its May 30, 2005 online edition in accordance to the request of Stewart Simonson, assistant secretary for public health-emergency preparedness of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Reason behind the agency's request according to its spokesman Marc W. Wolfson.
