Abstract
- In this research paper, Confidence interval using Maximum likelihood estimation is obtained for Poisson type Length biased exponential class for the parameters. Failure intensity, mean time to failure and likelihood function for the parameter is obtained. Confidence interval has been derived for parameters using maximum likelihood estimation. To study the performance of confidence interval, average length and coverage probability are calculated using Monte Carlo simulation technique. From the obtained intervals it is concluded that Confidence interval for the parameter perform better for appropriate choice of execution time and certain values of parameters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
