Abstract

Researchers at the University of Karachi in Pakistan have developed a highly stable and sensitive colorimetric sensor using silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for the detection of omeprazole at trace levels. The sensor combines AgNPs-based paper technology with smartphone technology for real-time analysis of omeprazole. The sensor demonstrated high stability, sensitivity, and versatility, making it suitable for on-site and point-of-care omeprazole detection in various samples. This research provides a promising solution for real-time omeprazole analysis with potential applications beyond pharmaceutical formulations. [Extracted from the article]
