Abstract
- Researchers from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Karnataka, India have developed a computer-aided system for the detection and classification of different types of intracranial hematoma in CT images. The system utilizes a deep learning model called YOLOv5s-CAM, which incorporates a cascaded attention module and a spatial pyramid pooling-fast to improve detection performance. The model was trained and tested using a dataset of 15,921 images and achieved high precision and recall values. The researchers believe that this system could be used in hospitals for early and accurate detection of hematoma. [Extracted from the article]
