Abstract
- The article discusses changes in Idaho law regarding Uninsured Motorist (UM) and Underinsured Motorist (UIM) coverage. It is reported that in 2008, Idaho amended the law to mandate automobile insurers to offer UM/UIM coverage, aiming to protect citizens from drivers with insufficient insurance. It emphasizes the importance of understanding UM/UIM policy provisions, such as insuring agreements, definitions of insured and motor vehicles, and exclusions.
