Abstract

A report from the University of Leeds discusses the challenges of water resource management in China in the face of climate change. The researchers developed a climate service prototype to provide water managers with insights into the impacts of climate change on the Upper Yellow River region for the next century. The prototype includes a web-based data visualization tool that presents climate information and communicates uncertainties regarding climate change in a simple and easy-to-understand style. The researchers collaborated with water resource managers to co-produce the tool and facilitate communication about climate change impacts on water resources. [Extracted from the article]
