Abstract

This article discusses a case of a 23-year-old man who presented with a firework-related injury to his face. The firework became lodged in his left jaw, and the bomb squad was called to safely remove the explosive. The patient underwent surgery to repair the facial fractures and restore function and aesthetics. The article also provides information on the epidemiology of firework-related injuries, the important considerations for managing facial injuries, and the potential causes of early and long-term morbidity following facial reconstruction. The case highlights the complex management required for facial injuries caused by fireworks and emphasizes the need for multidisciplinary care. [Extracted from the article]
