Community economic development forum set.

This article reports on the announcement that Michael Shuman, author of the book "Going Local," will keynote the Northern Dutchess Alliance's public meeting which is to be held at Milan Town Hall, Milan, New York, on June 29, 2005, from 4 to 6 p.m. The event launches an initiative by the Alliance to create an economic tool kit that will support healthy, coordinated local economic development. The Northern Dutchess Alliance, reportedly, has engaged a team of community development experts under the umbrella of Sustainable Hudson Valley, a regional nonprofit organization that helps communities reconcile their economic, social and environmental goals.
