Abstract
- A researcher at National Taipei University of Technology has published a study on implementing a robotic arm pencil sketching system using a novel drawing path planning method. The study aims to enhance the craftsmanship and uniqueness of artwork by transforming the original image into an animated style. The research introduces a new path-planning approach based on the traveling salesman problem (TSP) and utilizes various algorithms for path-planning experiments. The study concludes that artworks created using genetic algorithms to generate drawing paths exhibit distinct color-layering effects, addressing the issue of overly uniform and rigid strokes in past techniques.
