Abstract

A recent study conducted by the Department of CSE in Chennai, India, explores the use of data science techniques and machine learning models to predict cardiovascular diseases and recommend appropriate drug interventions. The researchers emphasize the importance of early disease detection and prevention in the healthcare industry, which generates vast amounts of data related to human health, diet, and drugs. The proposed Disease Prediction and Drug Recommendation Framework (DPDRF) utilizes various supervised machine learning algorithms to achieve a high accuracy rate of 96.23% in disease prediction. This research contributes to the growing field of artificial intelligence in healthcare and complements existing clinical decision support systems. [Extracted from the article]
