It discusses the relationship between festival authenticity, image, tourist satisfaction, and destination identity. The study finds that the experience of an ancient Egyptian festival can affect visitors' perception of authenticity, image, identity, and satisfaction. The article also highlights the lack of coordination and promotion of cultural and sports festivals in Egypt by the tourism sector, leading to missed opportunities for attracting tourists and boosting local economies.
