IMPLEMENTATION OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY THROUGH INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES.

The circular economy is an emerging concept promoted by the EU, based on the circulation of materials in the economy. The circular economy represents a regenerative economic system in which the environment is taken into account, natural resources are saved, the amount of waste for landfilling is reduced, as well as in production processes, attention is also paid to energy consumption and emphasis is placed on the use of renewable energy sources. This paper aims to examine the attitudes of employees in organizations in Serbia regarding the implementation of the circular economy through innovative technologies, as well as their awareness of the importance of the circular economy. The research was conducted through a survey, and the results obtained from the research indicate that there is awareness among the respondents about the circular economy. Also, the results indicate that the introduction of a circular economy can contribute to a better quality of life and a safer future by reducing environmental pollution and preserving natural resources. The results of this research can help managers of organizations to become more informed and advocate for the circular economy, which will bring big and sudden changes at the global level.
