Abstract

This document provides information about a clinical trial conducted by Ain Shams University. The trial aims to compare the effectiveness of two drugs, fentanyl and dexmedetomidine, as adjuvants to intrathecal bupivacaine in patients undergoing spinal anesthesia for cesarean section. The trial is not yet recruiting and is expected to be completed by November 2024. The eligibility criteria include female patients aged 20-35 years who are scheduled for cesarean section under spinal anesthesia. The study will be monitored by a data monitoring committee, and the data will be shared once the study is completed. [Extracted from the article]
