Abstract

A recent report from University Hospital in Yvoir, Belgium describes a case of mycosis fungoides, a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, presenting as perichondritis of the pinna in a 78-year-old patient. The patient experienced progressive necrosis of the pinna, requiring surgical management. The final anatomopathological analysis confirmed mycosis fungoides, which had transformed into a large T-cell lymphoma. This case highlights the rarity and potential aggressiveness of mycosis fungoides in the pinna, its ability to mimic perichondritis, and provides visual documentation of the condition.
