Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China, explores the impact of rural broadband development on agricultural total factor productivity (TFP). The study finds that rural broadband development plays a significant role in enhancing agricultural TFP, particularly in the central region and areas with higher rural disposable income. The research suggests that these findings can provide practical guidance for other developing countries in accelerating the digital transformation of villages and achieving high-quality agricultural development. The study was published in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems. [Extracted from the article]
