Abstract
- A recent study conducted by the University of Paris Saclay found that there is no increased risk of postpartum major depression (PPMD) in women who conceive through assisted reproductive technologies (ART). However, the study did find that women with PPMD who underwent ART had a higher risk of parenting difficulties compared to those with spontaneous pregnancies. The researchers recommend implementing specific support for the mother-child relationship in ART-women with PPMD. This research has been peer-reviewed and was published in the Archives of Women's Mental Health. [Extracted from the article]
