A study conducted by researchers from the University of Tabriz in Iran explores the electrophoretic deposition of composite coatings for drug delivery applications. The researchers investigated the electrical conductivity and pH variation of solutions and suspensions using different concentrations of acetic acid. The study found that composite coatings containing 50% mesoporous bioglass and 50% hydroxyapatite exhibited the highest rate of drug release.
