Johns Hopkins investigators develop novel treatment for T-cell leukemias and lymphomas.

Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center have developed a novel treatment for T-cell leukemias and lymphomas. The treatment, called an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), combines an antibody that targets a protein expressed on the surface of T-cell cancers with an anti-cancer drug. In mouse models, the treatment effectively killed T-cell cancers while preserving normal T cells.
