Abstract
- This article discusses the biology and toxicity of gametes, embryos, and cancer cells in reproductive systems. It highlights the importance of germ cells in maintaining reproductive function and the factors that can cause DNA damage and abnormal metabolism in these cells. The article also explores the genetic and epigenetic changes that can lead to aging and the impact of somatic cell aging on germ cell development. Additionally, it discusses the genotoxicity of nanoparticles and the patterns of chromosomal abnormalities based on age. The article concludes by emphasizing the ongoing research on various factors affecting the reproductive system and the interest in understanding the effects of environmental factors and aging on reproductive cell health.
