Abstract

A recent study conducted by Nanjing Medical University in Jiangsu Province, China, examined the diagnosis, treatment, and associated factors among individuals infected with the hepatitis C virus (HCV). The study found that there are still significant gaps in the diagnosis and treatment of HCV, leading to an increasing number of deaths related to the virus. The researchers emphasized the importance of timely diagnosis and increased uptake of HCV treatment in order to reduce the burden of HCV-related health problems and achieve the global target of eliminating hepatitis C.
