Abstract
- A research study conducted at Dalian University of Technology in China has found that ventilation and air conditioning systems play a significant role in reducing the transmission of COVID-19. Increasing air supply volume and using indoor air purifiers are effective measures to lower the risk of infection. The study also suggests that the safe duration of exposure to indoor spaces is influenced by factors such as occupant density and the effectiveness of facial masks. Enhancing the filtration efficacy of air conditioning system purifiers can provide a level of protection similar to wearing a regular mask. [Extracted from the article]
