Abstract
- Researchers from the University of Medicine in Timisoara, Romania, conducted a study on the effects of Sempervivum tectorum and melatonin administration on erythrocyte catalase activity in rats exposed to aluminum sulfate. The study involved Wistar albino rats divided into different groups, including a control group and experimental groups that received various treatments. The researchers found that the administration of Sempervivum tectorum and melatonin led to an increase in catalase activity compared to rats exposed only to aluminum. The effect of melatonin was more pronounced than that of Sempervivum tectorum.
