Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Timisoara, Romania, investigated the influence of deuterium-depleted water on rats intoxicated with chromium. The study found that the administration of deuterium-depleted water improved the hematocrit and stimulated the non-specific defense of neutrophils in the rats. The research provides valuable insights into the potential benefits of deuterium-depleted water in the context of chromium intoxication.
