Abstract

This article explores the potential of solar energy in Bangladesh and introduces the concept of using solar photovoltaic systems for various applications. It specifically focuses on the design and creation of solar-powered appliances, such as a charging backpack, farm hat, and grass cutter. The results of testing show that the solar backpack is capable of charging a mobile phone from 22% to 88% within 5 hours in direct sunlight. The article emphasizes the advantages of using solar energy in grass cutters and highlights the importance of renewable energy sources to prevent an energy crisis in the future. Overall, the article provides valuable information on the design and testing of solar-powered devices and highlights the potential benefits of utilizing solar energy in various applications.
