Abstract
- A research study conducted by National Taiwan University explores the architectural treatment of Taipei, Taiwan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study argues that the implementation of social distancing measures has varied across different locations, leading to a "postcolonial-urban complex" in the built environment. The researchers suggest that existing scholarship in architectural and urban studies should be re-examined to better respond to the current situation in Asia. The study focuses on Taipei as a preliminary pilot study to examine the post-pandemic architectural treatment. [Extracted from the article]
