Abstract: Examines the role of surgery in non-localized bronchiectasis. Definition of bronchiectasis; Mean duration of hospital stay in patients who underwent resection for localized disease (group 1) and patients who had bronchiectasis in at least two different lobes (group 2); Satisfaction rate in groups 1 and 2; Indication that the surgical treatment of selected patients with non-localized bronchiectasis was safe.
