Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the prognostic factors and survival rates of women with endometrial carcinoma in a tertiary care center in South India. The study reveals that early-stage endometrial adenocarcinoma has a positive prognosis and high survival rates. Factors such as age, tumor stage, grade, surgical procedure, and adjuvant therapy significantly impact recurrence-free survival and overall survival. The study emphasizes the importance of identifying variables that influence recurrence and survival rates to ensure appropriate therapeutic interventions. The document also presents statistical data on background characteristics, pathology, treatment, complications, and survival rates of women with endometrial carcinoma. Although the study had limitations, such as a small sample size and loss of follow-up for some cases, the results align with other studies conducted in India and internationally. The findings contribute valuable insights for healthcare professionals and researchers in understanding the prognosis and treatment outcomes for women with endometrial carcinoma in this region.
