Abstract

A new report from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Saudi Arabia provides valuable insights into the frequency, demographics, treatment, and outcomes of odontogenic tumors (OTs) in the country. The study analyzed data from three tertiary medical centers and identified 92 OT cases. The majority of OTs occurred in the mandible, with ameloblastoma being the most common type. The study also found that bone resection was the most common treatment modality, and 11.5% of cases exhibited recurrence. This research contributes to a better understanding of the epidemiology and characteristics of OTs in Saudi Arabia. [Extracted from the article]
