Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Yunnan University in China has identified chalcone analogues as potential anti-inflammatory agents. The researchers designed and synthesized a series of chalcone analogues and evaluated their anti-inflammatory activity in vitro. The most promising compounds were found to inhibit the expression of inflammation-related genes and suppress the NF-kappa B/JNK signaling pathway. These chalcone analogues show promise as lead candidates for the development of new anti-inflammatory drugs. The study was published in RSC Medicinal Chemistry and has been peer-reviewed.
