Abstract

The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange experienced a 2.36% decline in market capitalization after a three-day break for Eid-el-Fitr. The NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) dropped 24.9 points, ending the day at 1,028.79 points. Afriland Properties Plc was the only gainer, while FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc, Aradel Holdings Plc, and Geo-Fluids Plc all experienced losses. The volume of securities traded, the value of shares transacted, and the number of deals all decreased significantly. Aradel Holdings Plc, Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc, and Capital Hotel Plc were the most active stocks by value, while Capital Hotel Plc, IPWA Plc, and Mixta Real Estate Plc were the most active stocks by volume.
