Abstract
- A preprint abstract discusses a comparison between traditional Chinese medicine Jinzhen Oral Liquid (JZOL) and western medicine in treating children with acute bronchitis. The trial found that JZOL was not inferior to cough suppressant and phlegm resolving western medicine in treating cough and sputum, and could comprehensively treat respiratory and systemic discomfort symptoms. Network target analysis revealed that pathways in TRP channels might play important roles in the mechanism of JZOL against acute bronchitis. Animal experiments further confirmed the inflammation and immune regulatory effect of JZOL in treating acute bronchitis. However, it is important to note that this preprint has not been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
