Abstract
- This article discusses the ethical implications of using digital gaming interventions for mental health. The authors conducted a systematic review of the literature and identified 42 relevant papers, with 10 specifically addressing ethical issues. The review found that digital gaming interventions have the potential to improve the availability and accessibility of mental health interventions, but there are concerns about negative attitudes towards gaming, exclusion of certain groups, and potential harms such as addiction and privacy issues. The authors emphasize the need for more ethical reflection and interdisciplinary collaboration in this field. [Extracted from the article]
