Abstract

A study conducted in Rome, Italy, has highlighted the impact of molecular characteristics on the classification and treatment of endometrial cancer. The research emphasizes the growing importance of targeted therapy in the field of oncology, particularly for endometrial cancer. The use of immunotherapy, either alone or in combination with chemotherapy, has shown promising results in improving the prognosis of patients with recurrent or advanced endometrial cancer. The study suggests that investigating the mismatch repair status of patients with advanced endometrial cancer at the time of diagnosis could lead to better outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
